Getting started

Web console

Understand the menu, status controls, and live information available on the Overview dashboard.

On this page

The web console is available at http://192.168.4.1 while your laptop or mobile device is connected to the gateway's setup hotspot.

On screens 1180 px wide or narrower, use the menu button to open or close the navigation drawer. At 940 px and below, the status bar becomes compact and list/detail pages show one panel at a time. Use All settings, All outputs, All Modbus sections, or the equivalent back control to return to the list.

Status icons and sign out

The upper-right corner of every page contains:

  • Wi-Fi or signal: Green when the gateway is online and crossed out when it is disconnected.
  • Plug and battery: Shows whether external power is present and the current battery state.
  • Sign out: Ends the current console session. Sign out whenever you finish configuring the gateway.

Overview dashboard

The dashboard refreshes automatically and presents the gateway's most important values on one screen.

PanelWhat it shows
ReadingsEnclosure temperature and humidity, NTC, RTD, Analog 1-4, DO 1-3, and Relay. Disabled means the channel is not enabled.
DeviceDevice ID, Site ID, firmware version, MAC address, and hotspot name.
NetworkConnection state, active network, signal strength, IP address, and MQTT broker status. Change network opens Network.
PowerPower source, battery state, and power consumption in mW.
Hardware checkSelf-test result for each module. Full report opens Diagnostics.
The desktop Overview dashboard combines readings, device information, connectivity, power, and hardware status.

Saving, confirmations, and errors

  • A changed section shows an Unsaved state until its save request succeeds.
  • Live controls are disabled while their configuration is unsaved or while another request is running.
  • Relay, digital-output, reset, delete, sign-out, and other consequential actions ask for confirmation before they run.
  • A failed save leaves the edited values on screen and shows the relevant field or service error. Correct the value and retry.
  • Saved password fields are intentionally blank. Leave them blank to keep the stored secret unless the page says a replacement is required.
  • The console refreshes live status in the background. It does not overwrite a section that currently contains unsaved edits.
