Update the firmware
Open System > Firmware to see the installed version and check for signed updates.
| Item | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Status badge | Current update state, such as Up to date or Update available. |
| Installed version | Firmware currently running on the gateway. |
| Latest version checked | Newest version found at the last check. |
| Last successful update | Identifier for the most recent completed update, or Not recorded. |
Prepare the gateway
Connect stable external power and confirm that the gateway is online.
Check for an update
Select Check for updates. If the status remains Up to date, no action is required.
Install the available version
Select Install [version] and monitor Preparing, Downloading, Verifying, Restoring sensors, and Restarting. You can select Cancel update while an installation is active.
Verify the version
The gateway restarts and signs you out. Reconnect, sign in, and confirm Installed version.
If a check or installation fails, the page shows the last error and a retry action. Correct the power or network problem, then retry. A cancelled update returns to the available or idle state without changing the installed version.
Use Diagnostics
Open System > Diagnostics. The page contains Hardware, Logs, and Crash reports. A Tasks tab also appears when task statistics are enabled in the firmware build.
Hardware
Select Refresh to request current availability from each configuration service.
| Status | What to do |
|---|---|
| OK | No action is required. |
| Turned off | Enable the channel on its Sensors page if you need it. |
| Not detected | Check wiring, power, and connections, then refresh. |
| Could not start | Restart the gateway, then refresh. |
| Configuration failed | Review and save that component's settings, then refresh. |
| Stopped working | Check the connected sensor and wiring, then refresh. This state does not always mean the module is damaged. |
| Status unavailable | Wait a few seconds, then refresh. |
| Fault | Refresh, check wiring, and review or upload a crash report before contacting support. |
Tasks
When available, Tasks reports each firmware task's CPU percentage, runtime, priority, state, and minimum free stack, together with the measurement window and sample age. Select Refresh for a new snapshot. This tab is an engineering diagnostic and may be absent on production firmware that disables task statistics.
Logs
The Logs tab shows recent messages from the active network transport and MQTT service. Use it to diagnose Wi-Fi, cellular, TLS, authentication, and broker errors.
Crash reports
The Crash reports tab records an unexpected restart or firmware failure. Review the reset reason, affected task, exception address, firmware fingerprint, report size, upload attempts, upload state, and previous reports. If a current report exists, you can upload it or clear it. Automatic cloud upload sends pending reports only while the gateway is online through Wi-Fi.
